Golf: Nobilo finishes ninth at Pebble Beach Pro Am

Hot on the heels of Michael Campbell's successful title defence at the Heineken Classic in Perth, another New Zealand golfer has recorded a top ten finish at the Pebble Beach Pro Am in California.

Frank Nobilo shot a one-under 70 today to finish tied for ninth at 10 under par, six strokes behind the winner Davis Love III.

Grant Waite had his best round of the tournament today, closing with a 66 to finish 8-under in a tie for 13th.
