Kiwi golfer Michael Campbell's return to the sport has fallen flat.
He's withdrawn from the Abu Dhabi Championship on the European Tour after shooting six-over from the first nine holes of his opening round.
Personal reasons was cited for his decision to pull out of the event.
The tournament was
his first in a year, with Campbell plummeting to 1434 in the world.
Germany's Martin Kaymer has a one shot lead at eight-under, while world number one Rory McIlroy is three shots further back at five-under.
