KEY POINTS:
Catriona Matthew, who is five months' pregnant with her second child, shot a three-under 69 to win the inaugural HSBC LPGA Brazil Cup yesterday. The 39-year-old Scot finished five shots ahead of Kristy McPherson of the United States, who finished at 1-under for the tournament after shooting even par on Sunday's final round at the Itanhanga Golf Club. "When you play well you don't feel tired," Matthew said after her round. She started the final round with a birdie on the first hole and a bogey on the second, but was able to build her lead with birdies on the fifth, sixth and 14th holes.
