Kiwi golfer Mark Brown is in a share of fourth place after three rounds at the Queensland Open at the Brookwater Golf and Country Club.
After opening with a poor first round of 74, Brown shot a 67 yesterday to rocket up the leaderboard before a 70 today put himinto fourth at five-under, four shots off the lead held by Australia's David Bransdon.
Brown found himself in the lead through nine holes of today's round, After nine holes, but couldn't make inroads on the back-nine, being surpassed by the impressive Brandson who shot 67 to take a two shot lead over Rohan Blizard.

The 40-year old Brown, won the 2008 Johnny Walker Classic, and is set to make a rare apeparance back on the European Tour next week, scheduled to play in the Russian Open.
He believes he has a shot to get the win at the $110,000 tournament tomorrow afternoon.
"I don't hit it as far as some of these young boys but I hope my experience counts for something because this is a very tough track," he said.
Kiwi Nick Gillespie fired the round of the day, matching Brandson's 67 to get to even-par and a share of 17th. Daniel Pearce sits at four-over par alongside Michael Long, while Gareth Paddison's disappointing tournament has him at six-over.
