Defending champion and three-time winner Lydia Ko has made a strong start to the Canadian Open in Calgary.
The world number one is four-under through the first 10 holes to sit one shot behind leader Mirim Lee of Korea.
Ko, coming fresh off a silver medal performance at the Rio Games, began the tournament with a birdie at the opening hole, the 10th hole. She followed that up with further birdies at the 12th, 15th and 18th to be four-under at the turn.
She currently sits in a share of second with Koreans Mi Jung Hur, So Yeon Ryu and Stephanie Meadow of Northern Ireland.
Ko won the 2012 Canadian Open aged just 15 to become the youngest ever winner of an LPGA Tour event. She then defended her title as an amateur a year later.
