World number one Lydia Ko produced her worst result of 2016 with after finishing well back at the latest LPGA event in South Korea.
Ko carded a two-over 74 in the final round at the KEB HanaBank Championship to finish tied for 51st at three-over for the tournament. The fact it is Ko's worst performance of the year just shows how strong a season she is having, which has included four victories, a silver medal at the Olympics and 20 straight cuts made.
The 19-year-old finished 13 shots behind winner Carlota Ciganda of Spain.
Ciganda needed a big break to get in a playoff against Alison Lee after the American bogeyed the 18th hole. Ciganda then won the first playoff hole.
"I was just trying to stay in the present and hit as best I could," Ciganda said. "In the end, it was so close. I think I was the lucky one today and I'm very happy."
