Ko has found some consistency after a tumultuous end to 2016 which saw her change her coach, caddie and clubs.
After winning four times on the LPGA Tour in the span of five months in 2016, Ko hasn't claimed an LPGA title since July, and went 175 days without finishing better than tenth on the Tour.
Recent events have been better for the 19-year-old, whose last three tournaments have resulted in finishes of eighth, ninth and eighth.
Fellow Kiwi Danny Lee has also found some form on the PGA Tour, claiming a share of 17th at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
Lee started his 2017 season with four missed cuts, a withdrawal and a tie for 41st, but finished in tied 22nd last week at the Valspar Championship.
He followed up that improved showing with a final round five-under 67 this morning to leap 39 spots on the leaderboard and claim his first top 20 finish since November.
Lee jumps back into the top 100 in the world rankings, in 98th, but is not currently qualified for the Masters, where he finished 17th last year.
