LAS VEGAS - Tom Lehman followed his opening 63 with a 10-under 62 to take the outright lead on 125 after the second round of the $US4.5 million ($11 million) Las Vegas Classic golf tournament yesterday.
The 42-year-old American was on 19-under overall, three ahead of joint overnight leader Fred Couples.
Lehman's 62 briefly stood as a course record at Southern Highlands - one of three courses being used for the tournament - until Chris DiMarco went one better to move to 15-under.
New Zealanders Grant Waite and Craig Perks shot rounds of 68 yesterday to sit at 138 and 142 respectively.
* At Cannes, Australian Lucas Parsons rode his luck at the first and last holes in the Cannes Open to build a two-stroke lead with a 10-under 62. Welshman David Park was second two strokes back.
His score would have equalled the course record but for preferred-lies after rain this week.
