Danny Lee's season on the PGA Tour is over after he finished off the pace at the Deutsche Bank Championship.
The Kiwi professional came in to the tournament in 96th place on the FedEx Cup standings and needed to push his way in to the top 70 to play in next week's playoff event, the BMW Championship.
But yesterday's third round of 73 proved costly for Lee, who finished well with a three-under 68 in his final dig today as he closed the tournament at four-under in a share of 35th place but was only able to move to 88th in the FedEx Cup.
American Chris Kirk shot a final round 66 to win the event at -15. Kirk was two strokes ahead of Russell Henley, Geoff Ogilvy and Billy Horschel who finished in a share of second place.
