New Zealand golfer Danny Lee has picked up one further shot, but he is well off the pace at the PGA Tour's Byron Nelson Championship in Texas.
Lee has carded a third round one-under to be five-under for the tournament.
South African Rory Sabbatini and American John Mallinger lead at 13-under, two shots ahead of the second-placed group.
Sabbatini was even through four holes before closing his front nine with four birdies. He has won four times on the US PGA Tour, the last two years ago at the Colonial.
Mallinger enjoyed a bogey-free round. He is in his 77th tour event and looking for his first victory.
Kiwi Tim Wilkinson carded an even par third round and remains at four under for the tournament.
