Kiwi golfer Danny Lee has continued his strong start to the Puerto Rico Open on the PGA Tour and is in a share of fourth after the second round.
Lee fired a four-under 68 today to move to nine-under for the tournament to sit three strokes back from leader James Driscoll (-12), who flew up the standings with a nine-under 63 in his second round.
Lee entered this week's tournament in a share of 168th on the FedEX Cup standings and a good showing would help his cause as the PGA Tour season moves on.
The 23-year-old had seven birdies and three bogeys during a mixed round today, while fellow Kiwi Tim Wilkinson carded an even-par 72, which backed up his opening effort of a one-over 73, as he missed the cut by two strokes.
The field in Puerto Rico is notably weaker given the world's top players are contesting the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship in Florida.
