New Zealand No 1 Danny Lee has a share of 56th place after the first round of the Humana Challenge PGA Tour event in California today (Fri).
Lee, who missed the cut in his first start on the PGA Tour in 2012 last week, shot a three under par 69 to be six shots behind leaders Colombian Camilo Villegas and American David Toms. Lee was four under through 11 holes before he made a bogey on the par 3 15th to drop down the field.
The 21-year-old Lee, who qualified for the tour by finishing inside the top 25 on the Nationwide Tour money list in 2011, is the first Kiwi golfer to play on the PGA Tour since Tim Wilkinson in 2009.
