Kiwi golfer Danny Lee has carded a two-under 69 during his second round to make the cut at the Valspar Championship on the PGA Tour.
Lee had an eagle, three birdies and three bogeys today at the Innisbrook Resort in Florida as he jumped to a share of 27th at one-under for the week. He is five strokes back from leader Brendon de Jonge (-6).
Manawatu's Tim Wilkinson missed the cut by four strokes following rounds of 75 and 72.
The left-hander was projected to drop another three spots to a share of 174th in the FedEx Cup standings. Steven Alker, who is well down the FedEx Cup standings in his first season on the PGA Tour since 2003, didn't play this week.
