New Zealand golfer Danny Lee has chalked up his fifth top 10 result of the season on the second tier Nationwide Tour in the United States.
The 21-year-old completed a season's best tie for second today in the $US750,000 ($NZ888,950) Cox Classic at Omaha, Nevada, to consolidate his position within the tour's top 25 who earn promotion to the PGA Tour at the end of the year.
He improved ninth places to 10th on the tour moneylist, a cheque for $US47,850 lifting his season's income to $US159,800.
Lee crafted a five-under-par 66 for a tournament card of 21-under 263 to share second place with three
others, one shot behind American JJ Killeen.
