New Zealand No 1 Danny Lee is tied for 21st at the Puerto Rico Open on the PGA Tour after a two under par 70 in round one.
The former US Amateur champion, who didn't meet the qualifying criteria for the World Golf Championship event this week at Dora, made four birdies and a double bogey at the Trump International Golf Club.
Lee, who has made two cuts from five events this year to be 151st in the Fed Ex Cup standings, is only four shots back from round one leaders Matt Jones of Australia and American George McNeill.
