Kiwi golfer Danny Lee sits in a tie for 47th place midway through the final round at the BMW Championship at Conway Farms Golf Club in Illinois today.
Lee hit four birdies and four bogeys on his way to an even par 71 in a mixed final-round that saw him finish at three-under for the tournament.
The 25-year old birdied the second and fourth holes before bogeying the fifth, ninth and twelfth.
He came back to birdie the 13th and 16th but slipped again on the 18th with a final-hole bogey leaving him with an even-round 71, for an overall score of 281.
Australian Jason Day is the runaway leader at 20-under midway through the final round. A victory will give him the number one rankings in the world.
