Kiwi golfer Danny Lee has endured a horror eight-over 79 in his second round of the Valspar Championship on the PGA Tour to miss the cut.
Lee was one of the first-rounder leaders in Florida after shooting a three-under 68 yesterday but his second dig was awful today (sat) as he shot a birdie, seven bogeys and one double bogey to eventually finish five-over for the tournament and miss the cut by two shots.
As bad as Lee was, American John Daly had an even worse second round as he signed for a 19-over 90 as he also plummeted down the leaderboard.
American Robert Garrigus (-7) leads the event by three strokes from Kevin Na.
