Kiwi golfers Danny Lee and Tim Wilkinson both carded rounds of one-under 71 during the opening day of the Arnold Palmer Invitational in Florida on the PGA Tour today.
Lee and Wilkinson are in a share of 40th, nine strokes back from runaway leader Adam Scott, who equalled the course record on his way to a 10-under 62 during his first round at Bay Hill.
Wilkinson was fairly consistent during his round with three birdies and two bogeys, while Lee produced five birdies and four bogeys.
Meanwhile, on the Web.com Tour, Hamilton's Steven Alker began the Panama Claro Championship with a one-under 69 to be in a share of 13th after the opening round.
Australian Aron Price leads the Panama event after shooting a four-under 66 today.
