The rest of the golfing world might be, but South Korean SooBin Kim isn't surprised at breaking a course record and setting a hot early pace at the Women's Australian Open.
The Canadian-based Kim shot a first-round 63 on Thursday, a new course record at The Grange in Adelaide's West.
Australians Minjee Lee and Su Oh carded three-under rounds while world No 1 Lydia Ko shot a two-under 70.
Kim led them all after she birdied seven of her initial 12 holes and added two more later in a flawless nine-under round.
Ranked 256 in the world, Kim was playing her first tournament round this year - her lowly ranking failed to gain her entrance into the initial two LPGA events.
