Golfing prodigy Lydia Ko has been rewarded for her recent stellar performances by rising two places to world No.3 in the latest women's world amateur rankings released today.
She lies one place behind compatriot Cecilia Cho, 16, who remains as world No.2.
Ko, 13, finished fourth at the New Zealand Women's Open on Sunday to follow her second place at the New South Wales Open and 12th at the Australian Open earlier this year.
Japan's Misuki Katahira retains her ranking as the best amateur woman in the world.
Ben Campbell is New Zealand's top ranked men's amateur who jumped five places from 22nd to 17th.
