Kiwi golfer Lydia Ko has carded a flawless five-under 67 during her third round of the HSBC Women's Championship in Singapore to move to a share of second place.
The 17-year-old began today in a tie for fourth and her bogey-free round, which included five birdies, saw her climb to 11-under for the week, two strokes back from leader Inbee Park (-13). Park carded a four-under 68 today.
Ko, the world No 1 who has won the Australian and New Zealand women's opens in her past two starts, is firmly in contention heading in to the final round of the US$1.4 million tournament in Singapore.
Her metronomic consistency is a marvel and the player who has never missed a cut in a professional event has another finish near the top of the standings in her grasp.
American Stacy Lewis, a former world No 1, is also in the mix and sits alongside Ko in second place. Ko and Lewis are two strokes clear of a trio of players who are tied for fourth at nine-under.
