Lydia Ko is three strokes back from the leader heading in to tomorrow's final round of the Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic in San Francisco.
The Kiwi fired a one-under 71 during her third round today which has taken her to six-under for the week, three behind Brooke Henderson who leads the event at nine-under. Ko holds fourth place.
Henderson, 17, has a one-stroke advantage over Morgan Pressel and Min Seo Kwak who are in a tie for second at eight-under.
Ko, the world No 1, celebrated her 18th birthday at the tournament this week and is in the mix to defend her Swinging Skirts title.
Meanwhile, on the PGA Tour, Danny Lee is in touch with the leaders at the weather-affected Zurich Classic in Louisiana.
