Lydia Ko has birdied three of her final four holes during her second round at the HSBC Women's Championship in Singapore.
The Kiwi teenager, who has won her past two starts, began today in a share of fourth and ended the day there as she carded a two-under 70 to move to six-under at the LPGA Tour tournament.
Ko made birdies at the third and 12th holes today before a double bogey at the par-four 13th took the gloss off her round. She then made birdies at 15, 17 and 18 - with a bogey at 16 - to finish strongly.
The world No 1 is three shots back from co-leaders Carlota Ciganda and Inbee Park who are at nine-under at the halfway point of the US$1.4 million event. Spain's Azahara Munoz is in third at seven-under.
American Stacy Lewis is one of three players alongside Ko at six-under.
