Lydia Ko has shot up the leaderboard after the second round of the Sime Darby LPGA Tour event in Malaysia.
The Kiwi fired a seven-under 64 to leave her in a four-way tie for second at nine-under, just two shots off the lead.
Ko started the day tied for 16th at two-under after a solid opening round 69. The Kuala Lumpur event is Ko's first tournament back after a month-long injury layoff.
Ko got her second round off the to a good start, hitting a birdie on the par-four first before repeating the dose on the fourth and the sixth. She then sunk three birdies in a row to open her back-nine account, managing another on the 15th.
Encouragingly, the 17-year-old didn't let any of that good work go to waste - she managed to keep out of bogey trouble over the entire 18 holes to hand in a blemish-free card.
