Lydia Ko has made a steady start to her latest LPGA tournament in Thailand.
The world number four has fired an even par 72 and is in a tie for 25th, six shots off the pace being set by Swede Anna Nordqvist.
Meanwhile unheralded David Klein is one of the leading New Zealanders after the opening round of the Victorian PGA in Melbourne.
Klein and former New Zealand number one Mahal Pearce are in a tie for 14th after even par rounds of 72.
The pair are in a group of 10 players three shots off the pace being set by Australian Aaron Townsend, who holds a one shot buffer at three under par.
