New Zealand's Lydia Ko has claimed another top five finish on the LPGA Tour despite an up-and-down final round at the Kingsmill Championship in Virginia.
Ko fired a final round even-par 71, her worst score of the tournament, on a day that included three birdies, a double bogey and a bogey to finish at eight-under.
It is Ko's third top-five finish of the LPGA season. Ko earned US$48,832 (NZ$56,544) for the fifth placing, taking her season earnings to US$505,212 (NZ$585,000).
At one point Ko held outright second before falling back in the field after dropping two shots on the par four 12th.
American overnight leader Lizette Salas carded a final round 71 to win her first LPGA title by four shots ahead of Australian Sarah Jane Smith, Yani Tseng of Chinese Taipei and American Lexi Thompson.
