Lydia Ko has bounced back after a poor finish at the British Open to sit in fourth place following the opening round of the LPGA's Marathon Classic.
The 17-year-old is five shots off the pace after hitting a four-under 67 in Ohio. American Laura Diaz leads the tournament at nine-under following an opening round 62.
Ko was three-under at the turn but dropped a shot with her second bogey of the round at the 16th. She closed her round strong however, with back-to-back birdies.
British Open winner Mo Martin is tied with Ko at four-under.
Meanwhile Steven Alker has shot a blistering nine-under 62 to sit be placed two shots off the lead at the web.com Boise Open.
