European Challenge Tour
Still on cloud nine after becoming the third Fox to represent his country, Ryan Fox will be defending his Le Vaudreuil Challenge title in France, which also tees off tonight.
Fox is playing with freedom and is in a great head space after holding off a rampant Michael Hendry for the final Olympic position. He is also well in contention to secure a full European Tour card for 2017, but there are plenty of tournaments ahead before that can be confirmed and if last year is anything to go by, Fox can't slow down.

The social feed has been full of Tiger Woods videos from when he produced the magical bunker shot from the 18th fairway to win the Canadian Open in 2000. What people don't realize is that he be beat our very own Grant Waite in what was a final round shootout where Waite fell just short.
This year's Canadian Open hosted by Glen Abbey certainly won't feature Tiger Woods, but it will have another Kiwi flavour to it with Danny Lee and Tim Wilkinson fronting up once again.
Lee will be looking to bounce back after a forgettable appearance at The Open Championship where he comfortably missed the cut. Lee also has to concentrate on the FedEx Cup as there is only five events remaining. Sitting in 64th, he is in a solid position, but Wilkinson will need to hand in a few 60's to move up from his current position of 127th.
Steven Alker and Josh Geary are still grinding away on the Web.com Tour and are in need of a vital victory if their goal of making the top 25 is to become reality.
New Zealand Amateurs
We had great news earlier this week with Denzel Ieremia and Nick Voke both qualifying for the US Amateur Championship. The pair have been playing College golf together for Iowa State and seem to be enjoying the challenge. This is arguably the biggest stage in Amateur golf, so to get a shot at this can lead to great things.
Chantelle Cassidy is also doing well in the qualifying stages for the Women's British Open and on Monday she will play in the final qualifier for her shot at the big stage. This will be intriguing to watch as her form in links golf seems to be getting better and better.
