Royal Auckland's WIlkin, who won the Muriwai Open on the Charles Tour in May, carded rounds of 78 and 74 to sign for an eight over-par total and miss the cut for the final two rounds of the stroke play by nine shots.
Wilkin had three birdies, three bogeys and a double bogey in his second round to finish tied 124th.
Compatriot Perry, who was recently named in the New Zealand team to contest the Eisenhower Worlds Amateur Team Championship, improved almost 20 places in the second round with an even-par 72.
The former New Zealand Amateur Champion, who opened with a nine over par 81 to be in a share of 147th place, finished on a nine-over par total in a share of 128th place.
