Tim Wilkinson was the closest to sneaking inside the two-under cut line, finishing a shot outside after an improved two-under 68 in today's second round.
Danny Lee, who was the best of the New Zealand trio after an opening-round 68, slipped down the leaderboard with a one-over effort on the second day. Steven Alker, meanwhile, finished well off the pace after following yesterday's 72 with a three-over 73.
The tournament's three American co-leaders, Matt Kuchar, Webb Simpson and Justin Thomas, will head into tomorrow's third round tied on 12-under.
