All three New Zealand golfers competing at Singapore's Sentosa Golf Club for a place in the this year's British Open have fallen short.
With five places up for grabs from the two-round qualifying tournament, Stephen Scahill was best placed of the New Zealanders after a second-round 67 gave him a two-round total of 140, three shots away from fifth place.
Gareth Paddison was four shots further back in 37th place after a pair of 72s, while Bradley Iles struggled with a final-round 75 for a total of 146 and a share of 44th.
Australians Adam Groom, David Gleeson and Lee Won-Joon, Scotsman Ross Bain and Lam Chih-Bing of Singapore, qualified for the Open, to be held at Carnoustie in Scotland.
