All three Kiwis went under the card during the opening round of the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open on the PGA Tour in Las Vegas.
Manawatu's Tim Wilkinson was the best-placed of the trio after he signed for a three-under 68 today, which left him in a share of 19th, four strokes back from co-leaders Stewart Cink and Martin Laird who were at seven-under. The left-handed Wilkinson's round included five birdies and two bogeys.
Wilkinson's fellow Kiwis Danny Lee and Steven Alker both finished with a one-under 70 as they held a share of 53rd.
There were 78 players under the card and it looks like all three New Zealanders will need to shoot low again tomorrow if they want to make the cut.
A handful of players were on their final hole for the day when play was suspended due to darkness.
