Kiwi golfer Danny Lee has failed to survive the cut at the latest PGA Tour play-off event in Massachusetts, ending his campaign.
The 27-year-old, reeling after a disastrous four-over 75 in the first round in Norton, could only manage a second-round three-over 74, four shots off the overall three-over cut-off.
The tournament - the Dell Technologies Championship - is the second of four events in the lucrative FedEx Cup elimination play-offs.
Lee needed to be ranked inside the top 70 on the points standings by the Championship's end to advance to next week's third play-off event in Illinois. He is now projected to finish 73rd.
Lee closed out the regular season ranked 56th, but his failure to make the cut at last week's opening play-off event in New York sent him six places backwards. This week's performance has now put the nail in his coffin.
