Kiwi golfer Josh Geary carded a four-under 68 during the final round of the Buick Open to claim a one-stroke victory on the PGA Tour China.
Geary's come-from-behind effort, sparked by five birdies on the front nine, marked his third tournament victory as a professional; he kept his cool as his rivals struggled on the final day yesterday.
The 30-year-old finished the week at eight-under, one stroke ahead of Korean JH Wang, as he banked $46,000.
"I planned to win, and I had a pretty good day," Geary said.
He also won the 2008 Saskatchewan Open in Canada and the 2013 Western Australia Open.
Geary said he would likely play nine or ten events on the PGA Tour China circuit this year.
