After winning his first major in 11 years, Tiger Woods was spotted giving his girlfriend Erica Herman a public kiss.
The pair's PDA has since cemented Herman as the woman who put the troubled golf star back on the path to redemption, with The Sun even labelling her as Woods' "saviour".
But who is the woman, who Woods has dated for only 18 months, that has finally marked a change in the man tarred by scandals?
The end of Woods' six-year marriage to Elin Nordegren in 2009 was what sparked the beginning of the US golf legend's fall from grace.
Nordegren left their marriage with a £72m (NZD$138m) settlement when his alleged affair with New York nightclub boss Rachel Uchitel was uncovered.
It was reported the former world number one had spent thousands of dollar on prostitutes while on tour.
Woods then started sex addiction therapy before being arrested for having five different drug types in his system and falling asleep at the wheel.
His relationship with Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn between 2012 and 2015 eventually broke down too when Vonn revealed they had parted ways due to spending "the majority of our time apart".
Although a friend of the golfer later claimed he had been unfaithful again with a "nameless, faceless woman".
The Sun reported that Woods then met Herman through his Florida restaurant, The Woods Jupiter, where she was employed as a general manager in 2017.
It's was not revealed, however, whether Woods had personally hired Herman to manage his pop-up restaurant but after they crossed paths, their romance quickly took flight.
Herman announced the couple's status by wearing a "player spouse" badge at the President's Cup later that year but struggled to escape headlines, being labelled a 'gold digger' and rumoured to have had her eye on Woods for over a decade.
The 33-year-old joined Woods and his two children on a holiday in the Bahamas in late 2017 before being spotted in the stands next to the children at the US Open.
Rumours circulated that Woods, who reportedly slept with around 120 women during his marriage to Nordegren, had cheated on his Texan stylist ex, Kristen Smith, with Herman.
However, Woods has denied all claims he had cheated again, saying he split with Smith a month prior to seeing Herman.
Two days after making their relationship official, Herman accompanied Woods to court where he pleaded guilty to his reckless driving charge and later joined him in the Royal box at Wimbledon - putting on a united front once more.
Woods has since managed to avoid any more scandals, keeping Herman by his side at all major tournaments.
And after yesterday's public moment, it seems Herman is likely to be spotted at many more.
