Michael Campbell has reached a heady height at the US Open in North Carolina.
The New Zealand golfer has grabbed a share of sixth place at even par at the halfway stage, after firing a second round one under par 69.
Olin Browne, Retief Goosen and Jason Gore share the lead at two under.
Campbell's in some impressive company, with two time champion Sergio Garcia and world number two Vijay Singh also level with the card.
Garcia says the Pinehurst course has been treacherous today and it is only going to get worse.
He admits it is going to be tough
Some of the big names have had disastrous second rounds, Phil Mickelson's 6-over, Ernie Els is 7-over, while Tiger Woods is 1-over.
