New Zealand professional James Gill found the windy conditions to his liking as he shot a two under 70 to move up the leaderboard after the second round of stage two of the European Tour qualifying school at Sherry Golf Jerez in Spain yesterday.
Gill is now in a tie for 19th with two rounds to go.
The top 18 players from the field of 75 at Sherry Golf Jerez qualify for the final qualifying stage over six rounds starting on November 28 in Spain.
