Josh Geary has won the Lanhai Open in China overnight, his second tournament victory on the PGA Tour of China this season.
Just like his season opening win at the Buick Open in April, the New Zealand got the better of South Korea's J.H. Wang to win by one stroke. Geary finished at 12-under with a final round 69 to take home the NZ$49,097 winner's cheque.
Geary has put himself in solid position to return to the Web.com Tour in 2016 as he sits atop the Order of Merit, with NZ$107,700.
After a bogey on the final hole, Geary had to watch as Wang three-putted to first miss a chance at victory and then blow a playoff.
"It feels pretty surreal. It was a really close battle, but I managed to sneak through," Geary told PGAtour.com.
