Bay of Plenty golfer Josh Geary snared a top-20 finish at the co-sanctioned China Open after a final round 69 yesterday.
The OneAsia/European Tour event at the Suzhou Jinji Lake Golf Club was won by Korean YE Yang despite a last round 71, two shots clear of the Welsh pair of Rhys Davies and Stephen Dodd.
Geary closed with a three-under-par final round to give him a 72-hole total of seven-under 281.
He was comfortably the best of the New Zealand contingent, with Danny Lee closing with a final round 72 to finish on 289 and Richard Lee shooting 79 to finish on 296.
