New Zealand golfer Josh Geary has missed out on next year's PGA Tour after shooting a final round two-over 74 at the final qualifying school in Florida today (NZT).
Geary completed the six rounds with a five-under 424 on the Panther Lake and Crooked Cat courses at Orange National. To be in contention for a PGA Tour berth, he need to total around 420.
The top 25 players after six rounds receive their full playing rights to the PGA Tour, while the next 50 will earn cards for the second-tier Nationwide Tour.
Geary's total saw him join nine others in a share of 50th place.
Danny Lee, also playing on the Crooked Cat Course, shot an identical 74 to finish on 426 and a share of 65th place. He was joined on that total by Tim Wilkinson, who finished with a one-under 71.
Of the other New Zealanders, Michael Hendry today shot an even-par 71 on the Panther Lake course to total 430, and Steven Alker was two-over 73 today for an overall 436.
