Josh Geary's made a bright start to his year on the US PGA's second tier web.com golf tour.
Geary has fired an opening round five under par 66 at the Brasil Champions in Sao Paulo.
He's tied for 11th, just three shots off the pace.
Fellow Kiwi Steve Alker is one shot further back.
