Auckland's Ryan Fox finished the Australian Open with a one-under 70 in his final round to claim a share of seventh place.
Fox was the best of the Kiwis at The Australian Golf Club in Sydney today as he ended the week at one-under, 12 strokes back from runaway winner Jordan Spieth (-13).
The Rosebery course played tough all week and aside from Fox, the next best New Zealander in the field was Josh Geary who finished in a tie for 28th at four-over.
Countrymen Michael Hendry and Brad Shilton claimed a share of 46th at eight-over, while Michael Long finished at 11-over in a tie for 62nd.
Earlier in the week, Kiwis Gareth Paddison, Mahal Pearce, Mark Brown, Richard Lee, Tae Koh, David Klein and Nick Gillespie all missed the cut.
