A disastrous three hole spell has seen Kiwi golfer Ryan Fox fall off the pace at the SK Telecom Open in South Korea.
Fox had strung together four birdies on the front nine to be just one off the lead at nine-under par, but the turn onto the back nine proved to be his undoing.
The first-round leader double bogied the par-four 10th hole before bogeying the 11th and 12th to see him drop well behind the frontrunners, with only one player in the top 30 shooting an over-par round.
Although Fox steadied his round with a birdie on 13, he bogied the last for an even par 72, which was only good enough to see him in a tie for eleventh at five-under, five shots off the lead held by Korean Jinho Choi.
Fox is joined at five-under by Gareth Paddison, who had a bogey-free round of 68 to move up the leaderboard, while Mark Brown shot a 37 to be well back in a tie for 54th.
