Ryan Fox has endured a mixed second round to slip down the leaderboard at the European Tour event in Abu Dhabi.
The kiwi golfer has carded a one-under 71, shooting five birdies but combining that with two bogeys and a double bogey.
Fox is four under for the tournament, in a tie for 38th and eight shots off the lead held by Germany's Martin Kaymer.
