KEY POINTS:
Injured Luke Donald's chances of playing in next month's Ryder Cup appear to be fading.
The 30-year-old Briton has been sidelined since the US Open at Torrey Pines in mid-June when he popped a tendon in his left wrist during the final round.
"In the next week or so I will have to make one of the biggest decisions of my career," Donald wrote in a blog (www.rbs.com/golf) for this week's US PGA Championship.
