He's now won 15 majors and 81 professional golf tournaments but Tiger Woods has a new accolade after securing the US Masters title at age 43 yesterday - A Presidential Medal of Freedom.
US President Donald Trump made the announcement on Twitter that Woods would become the 33rd sportsperson to receive the award.
Previous recipients include Michael Jordan, Muhammad Ali, Jesse Owens, Billie Jean King and fellow golfers Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer.
Trump didn't say when a ceremony will be held. The medal is the nation's highest honour for a civilian.
The Presidential Medal of Freedom is awarded by the US President "for especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, or world peace, or cultural or other significant public or private endeavors".
