Golf: Disappointing start for Campbell

Michael Campbell has had a day to forget at the US Masters at Augusta, Georgia.

Campbell has stumbled to an opening round three over par 75.

He had picked up two birdies, but then went through a mid round slump of three bogeys and a double bogey.

In all, he dropped five shots in six holes.

Campbell is currently eight shots off the leader, Vijay Singh, who still has three holes to play.

Singh is one shot clear of American Rocco Mediate, who is back in the clubhouse after firing an opening round 68.
