There's little to no chance Danny Lee will return home to play in next year's New Zealand Open.
Organisers are hopeful of getting the Kiwi number one to play at home next year for the first time since 2009.
But his coach Drew Steckel said that will be very difficult due to it being held in March at a big time on the PGA Tour.
"I think it's around the Doral tournament, the WGC, and all that stuff so it's going to be interesting planning things out."
The Kiwi golfer played the most of anyone on Tour last season, competing in 36 events in his breakthrough year.
