Christchurch's Clearwater Golf Club will once again host the New Zealand Open from November 22-25.
The tournament, which is part of the PGA Tour of Australasia, had a successful return to Christchurch last year, when Queenslander Brad Kennedy beat 2002 champion Craig Parry in a playoff.
"We believe the dates of this tournament will suit the schedule of our elite players and we will see many of New Zealand's and Australia's best in Christchurch to contend the oldest championship in New Zealand Golf," New Zealand Golf chief executive Dean Murphy said.
"We were very pleased with the support we received from the local public in 2011. The Clearwater Golf Club is an appropriate place to hold the national Open as the home of four-time champion Sir Bob Charles. It promises to be another great week in Christchurch."
