Top New Zealand woman amateur golfer Dana Kim today announced she is turning professional.
The Christchurch-based golfer said although it had been a difficult decision to make, she was ready to step up a level.
"It's been a wonderful experience playing golf in New Zealand, and I am extremely grateful for the support I've received," she said.
Kim leaves for Korea on March 6, with the first round of qualifying school being held on March 31. Players have to make this cut, and then they have a further three rounds to enter the secondary tour.
